My Approach

Holistic.

When working together, I consider the whole person. Together, we’ll look at the core aspects of your life that make you whole.  If any single element is out of balance, challenges inevitably arise. When we find the right balance between these pieces, we’ll find peace.


Liberation.

My overall goal for every person I support is for them to feel a sense of personal liberation. Each of us, depending on our various identities, is restricted and limited by ideas and beliefs about who we are and who we should be. By identifying these limits and working to free ourselves from them, we set ourselves up to take our power back so that we can thrive in a fuller and freer life. This is something you can look forward to achieving no matter what your goals are.


Joy.

A lot of healing work can focus on things that generate a sense of struggle or defeat, something to change or eliminate. While that’s incredibly important to address, I won’t allow our sessions to get stay there. I create balance by also focusing on your joy and supporting you to find passions and interests that have been tucked away. We’ll celebrate your wins along the way so that you can feel just how powerful you are.


Curiosity.

I believe that the best way to find the answers we seek is to get curious. Preconceived notions and beliefs can be limiting. By being curious, asking questions, and digging deep, we rise above the limits we’ve been working under and discover a whole new set of possibilities. When we work together, you can expect to challenge your mindset and your belief systems to ensure that the way you think is serving you best.

Individualization.

I approach each person I work with as an individual. You are one of a kind. You have unique life experiences that have made you who you are at this given moment in time. I will adapt my styles and suggestions to any specific needs you might have while navigating the tools and the process.

Tangible Tools.

I believe it’s important to create sustainable change and build your capacity to lead your life, so that after a few sessions together you’re able to take what you’ve learned and apply it. I can provide you with personalized tools that are designed to create change in your day-to-day life, so that you’ll start to see results immediately as we simultaneously work on creating larger, lasting change.

Accountability.

I know from firsthand experience that I’m able to achieve my own goals quickly when someone is checking in and reminding me of what I’ve committed to. As your coach or therapist, one of my roles is to hold you accountable for the change you are trying to make by consistently checking in and regularly pushing you to go a little further than you think you can.
