I’m so glad you are here!

This is a safe space for you to explore who you truly are or even who you might want to become. Society, family, and friends all have a way of shaping us and forcing us to act in certain ways. We can wake up one day and realize our life is just one big performance.

Oftentimes, those learned “shoulds” are not helpful or aligned with our true selves. This is a space where you can unpack those limiting beliefs and deal with any internalized shame you might have acquired along the way.

As both an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a certified Life Coach, I offer a wide array of support and tools to collaborate with you. Whether you are looking to level up in life or do some serious healing on difficult life situations, I always focus on your humanity and your strengths and bring lots of love and safety to our space.

What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy

If your primary reason for seeking support is to manage areas of your life or symptoms that are having a significant effect on your ability to live well, therapy is probably right for you. Challenges such as depression, anxiety, recovering from trauma, identity work, relationship conflict, family conflict, or managing any number of diagnosable conditions can all be supported and healed through therapy.

Coaching

If you are seeking support in achieving a specific short-term goal or trying to change a specific behavior or habit, coaching could be very beneficial for you. Areas of work that often yield results with a coach include: changing jobs or improving at work, dating, healthy habits, developing passion or purpose, and exploring untapped skills.

 My Specialties

The primary focus of all of my work is to support the healing of members of the LGBTQ+ community. Our community has a specific set of challenges many of us face in our adult lives that come from years of living in the closet. That experience teaches us that we need to change ourselves and create an outer image for others in order to be acceptable and worthy of love. Other areas of focus include:

Recovering from and healing previous trauma

Recovering from and managing addiction

Emotional regulation and distress tolerance

Addressing internalized homophobia and toxic masculinity.

Navigating non-monogamy, polyamory, and other alternatives to a monogamous relationships.

Limiting beliefs, negative self-talk, fixed mindsets, and navigating change.

Shame around sex and sexual exploration.

Self-worth and self-image

Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries.

Relationship skills, healthy conlfict, and communication
